After a year of blabbing about how much I love and wanted them, I finally decided to just say "yolo" and purchased a pair of the Lazy Oaf x Nasty Gal watermelon shorts…! Truly perfect for the beautiful summer weather we've been having and incorporating the color pink and fruit (two things I love to wear hehe), they are easily one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe *___*
To ensure the watermelon shorts the main focal point, I kept the rest of my outfit simple and just wore a Forever 21 crop top and plain black flats.

Last March, I got a message from photographer Berta Pfirsich asking if I could model Lazy Oaf pieces for Ballad Of… magazine! It sounded like a dream come true, but that month I also found out my grandfather would be having emergency open heart surgery and would be needed at a moments notice. I am forever grateful to Berta for going above and beyond scheduling this shoot around this scary event - and also to the absolutely amazing Hana Haley (who I've had the honor of working with before) for agreeing to do a collaborative shoot with us and driving Berta up to the location!
I met Berta, Hana, and Savannah Jane Bigley at Enchanted Forest - a darling nursery rhyme themed amusement park! Berta is an absolute doll who was even sweeter in person and gave me a big hug the minute we met - she is so incredibly talented and I had such a wonderful time working with her!
It was so much fun prancing around the misty theme park in Lazy Oaf (which you probably already know, I absolutely l o v e) pieces and alongside such talented babes!

Just wanted to share a summer wishlist since it's the weekend and I can't stop thinking about eating popsicles and roller-skating in crop tops, florals and high-waisted everything ♡
I found it: the outfit I want to live in this summer! As you know, I am a huge fangirl over Samantha Pleet's designs - and this crop top is one of my very favorite pieces of hers ever. So imagine my surprise when, inside a little parcel from Samantha herself, tucked beside two of her beautiful lookbooks and a flower, was this crop top!!! ;_____; The graphic, tropical leaves that decorate this piece is paradisiacal and the scalloped hem is icing on the cake!
I decided to pair it with these simple high waisted shorts (that are SLIGHTLY shorter then I thought they would be…! Oh well, the parallels of shopping online), my trusty ASOS metallic flats (is silver a neutral? :*), and this darling flamingo printed Klear Klutch!
I can't think of a cuter, more apt for Spring/Summer print then pink flamingos and I have always loved the idea of a clear purse. Not only that, this clutch is truly beautifully made and is big enough to fit my important essentials - like heart sunglasses and my phone (which is outfitted in it's new Valentine's day candies covered case by Zero Gravity) AND a couple frivolities like my cute lipstick and compact (I love showing them off hehe)! I also adore this holographic version they have!
Two of Samantha's beautiful lookbooks and a beautiful fake flower like the ones featured in her S/S 2014 collection - finding these in my mailbox was like receiving a slice of magic from Samantha's world ♡
These were taken in my grandmother's beautiful garden - I just had to pick some of the stunning flowers and made a makeshift flower crown like the ones worn in Samantha's S/S lookbook! :*

Hello Holiday was built from the ground up by Megan and Sarah, two brilliant babes whose impeccable taste and style ensures every detail - from their instagram, to the product pages, to the layout, to the brands they stock - is perfect!
From the new spring line by one of my favorite brands Dear Creatures, this dress' full red skirt and crisp black and white stripes are a flawless marriage and make a dreamy sailor-esque dress!

I've had a pretty amazing week - the combination of sunny weather and getting on a better sleeping schedule has me feeling inspired, enthusiastic and productive! I've gotten a bunch done and even have time leftover for some DIY projects - I'm super excited n__n I hope you've had a similarly good week - and if not, the weekend is just around the corner!
