How can it be that summer is already winding down? I don't think the novelty of basking in a sun drenched living room, with my cat strategically laying in a sun spot, will ever get old. I wore this outfit to a BBQ and I feel like these photos, captured at golden hour, perfectly encapsulate the beautiful summer sunsets I love so much! I''m wearing a dreamy little dress from one of my favorite brands, Valfre.

This entire Spring/Summer I've been gravitating towards the squared, sweetheart neckline trend (that some have dubbed the "milk maid" style) that I have loved for years (the way the sleeves are set back, showcasing the collarbone, reminds me of Rococo dresses!) - and this dress, with it's cap sleeve detail and ruffling, is a dream come true! I also love the ruched detail with pearls on the ties... I paired the dress with a seashell bag from the same Valfre collection, the most darling pearl barrette from my friend's new brand, Pastel Renaissance, and some sparkley body oil!

Before the season ends, I'm going to try fitting in a few more summery activities - reading at the beach is high on the list! Have you crossed off everything on your summer to-do list?
