Being a bit timid when it comes to horror movies, I was initially a bit afraid to watch Roman Polanski's Rosemary's Baby - an iconic horror film that has become one of his trademark movies. But being a huge fan of Mia Farrow, I finally cracked - and I'm glad I did!
Rosemary's Baby is not only a haunting film that stays with you for a very long time, but has one of the best wardrobes I've seen on film. Rosemary is costumed in pastel-colored babydoll nightgowns detailed with Peter Pan collars and a pixie-cut that became Mia Farrow's trademark.
Farrow's frail performance of Rosemary was played to perfection, and as the film's momentum builds, the atmosphere becomes more and more stifling as all of Rosemary's options collapse around her.
