One of my favorite icons in music, Debbie Harry has a style all her own. Harry's career has spanned genres and decades - from her history-making role as Blondie's frontwoman, to her roles in films (such as Videodrome, a film by David Cronenberg) - it is no secret she has made a huge impact in pop culture.
Framed by her stunning eye make-up and mop of blonde locks, her style shines - I would absolutely love to raid her closet consisting of structured blazers, slinky dresses, graphic t-shirts, statement-making sunglasses and berets.

Debbie Harry is just THEE best. My favourite song by Blondie is a close call between Sunday Girl and Hanging on the Telephone. I think she is such an iconic female, I just love her! xxx
ReplyDeleteDebbie Harry is just GREAT! She was so pretty during the 80s with her strong eye shadows and pretty songs (she still is tho). Blondie is really a great band! :)

Debbie Harry is definitely a style icon. Even now in her old age she looks fabulous! I actually dyed my hair bleach blonde because of her a few years ago! Unfortunately I didn't look anywhere near as wonderful as her

Debbie Harry is amazing, she always looked so stunning. I think my favourite female vocalists are Nico, Alice Glass, Alison Mosshart and Karen O oooh and the lead singer of New Young Pony Club, I forgot what her name is though >.<

nice review... enjoyed your blog, following you now, hope you could visit my blog too.. kissess!!!
ReplyDeleteYES I love Debbie so much ;A;. I was completely obsessed with her when I was 17 and I still love her <3
ReplyDeleteMy music collection is pretty heavily female-oriented but qua voice sound? I'd have to say Jun Togawa (I keep meaning to make a blog post about her but I can't properly express how much and why I love her gaaahhh), Björk, early Kate Bush, Yuki from Judy and Mary and Elizabeth Frasier from the Cocteau Twins. I really like ethereal sounding voices and also I guess weird sometimes almost uncomfortable, sometimes almost shouting, sometimes child-like kind of voices :D
I love Debbie Harry and her style. My favourite female singers are Stevie Nicks, Florence and the Machine and Kate Bush. Xx
ReplyDeleteOh my god, I have been platine blond for 2 years and I had the same hair cut than her, everybody called me blondie for the two whole years!
ReplyDeleteBut it was flattering :)
She really does rule.
ReplyDeleteI love her! she is just so cool! x
ReplyDeleteHer style is so influencial! She also really makes me want Blonde hair - especially with black roots! Ace!
ReplyDeleteLove her. I recently found this

Yeah, I love Blondie! Debbie definitely is gorgeous, in a bad aS* sort of way. Emily from Metric sorta reminds me of her. She's another icon to look into.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, Debbie, Debbie, Debbie! She really is a stunner, isn't she? There's nothing quite like her. Love her edgy girliness. Right, I'm off to listen to some Blondie right now!
