Saying goodbye to a month is always sad for me (cue "where has the time gone!!!" moments of PANIC), so in order to cheer myself up, I decided to compile some of my favorite things that happened this February into a "month in review" type post! Hope this isn't boring to you guys and let me know your own highlights for the month in the comments! ♡
Valentine's Day - conversation hearts, surprise valentine from Marlena, pen pal letter, heart garland, & valentine from Sarah, & me holding a huge heart wreath - as one does
Being drawn by the unbelievably talented Michelle, interviewed by the impeccably dressed October from October Rebel, and featured on Micaela Hoo's blog!
Getting back into illustrating and completing commissions for Powder Doom and City Girl Slim
Receiving the most incredible parcel ever from Marlena ♡
Exploring my new town and eating some truly wonderful food - bacon cheeseburger and fries, raspberry sorbet, shamrock shake, & taco pizza
And I was particularly happy with this month's batch of outfit posts! To review: Rose Garden, Liquorice, and Bubblegum
Other Highlights:
- Going to the movies with my friend Kayla and having an Adventure Time marathon at her house
- Receiving such thoughtful/encouraging emails and comments from you guys - seriously the best! ♡
What are you looking forward to in March?
♡,
Kailey

Aw, thanks for the compliment! I heart your hairstyle so much in the first photo. I'm not sure if it reminds me of a blond Bettie Paige or an animated princess more but either way I love it!!!

I have to admit that I'm glad this month is over. February is always a tough month living in the Northeast as it's the heart of winter. I'm excited for the upcoming change of season.
ReplyDeleteWow so cool seeing how your month went by as mine went by just laying down and catching up on movies and tv shows, now its back to school time! :)

hi kailey! we mutually follow each other on instagram - there i'm "n3bulaprinc3". just wanna say i adore you and your blog!
ReplyDeletei'm sad to see february go, too - a sweeter, kitschy-er month there has never been. i'm gonna miss all the pastel pink and stark red and the valentines, but i will not miss the cold at all! eh heh. i'm really anticipating march myself, i have a lot of things planned in my life!
your february was fabulous, as evidenced in your farewell february post. my february? not as fabulous, but i had some great highlights too! i had a date with my boyfriend that ended in us kissing (for the first time! we've been together almost a year!) in his driveway under falling snow. then, about four or five days later, he asked me to accompany him to a jeff mangum concert, which was fantastic. also, i watched a fantastic series for the first time, and besides that, i had a nice month full of laughter, silliness, and fun!
(apologies, my own blog is bare as bones! i've always wanted to start ~fashion blogging~ but of course, i'm without a good camera! oh well. i'll make it work, someday!)
Everything about this is just lovely! March will be fun too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a month it's been for you, Kailey! Wow! Hope it keeps getting better. :)
ReplyDeleteKailey, I LOVE your photos with that heart garland! SOOOOO gorge!
