I've been wearing it 24/7 in my cosy apartment, and style it with warm tights and a thick coat for outings because I'm a weirdo who still wears dresses in winter hehe.
Happy weekend!

Happy weekend!
Just in time for their 15th birthday, Lazy Oaf, whose clothing I have worn on my blog for a few years now and continues to be a very favorite brand (remember my watermelon shorts?), released their own swimwear line this summer and sweetly sent me their watermelon bikini! I am absolutely charmed by the cartoony design, adorable ruffle details, and I kinda want to live it in this summer?! Be sure to check out their swimwear line (they have a mermaidy one piece too)!
Happy summer guys!
To ensure the watermelon shorts the main focal point, I kept the rest of my outfit simple and just wore a Forever 21 crop top and plain black flats.
I hope you are all enjoying your spring/summer - I have a couple exciting things slated for this summer and I am soooo excited! Do you have anything fun planned? ♡♡♡
Last March, I got a message from photographer Berta Pfirsich asking if I could model Lazy Oaf pieces for Ballad Of… magazine! It sounded like a dream come true, but that month I also found out my grandfather would be having emergency open heart surgery and would be needed at a moments notice. I am forever grateful to Berta for going above and beyond scheduling this shoot around this scary event - and also to the absolutely amazing Hana Haley (who I've had the honor of working with before) for agreeing to do a collaborative shoot with us and driving Berta up to the location!
I met Berta, Hana, and Savannah Jane Bigley at Enchanted Forest - a darling nursery rhyme themed amusement park! Berta is an absolute doll who was even sweeter in person and gave me a big hug the minute we met - she is so incredibly talented and I had such a wonderful time working with her!
And you already know how I feel about actual goddess Hana Haley hehe <3
It was so much fun prancing around the misty theme park in Lazy Oaf (which you probably already know, I absolutely l o v e) pieces and alongside such talented babes!
Thank you so much again ladies for making this happen ♡ You can see a very amateurish behind the scenes video I shot that day on my Youtube channel here (Youtube fixed the shakiness of the video but in doing so messed up the text I put on top of it - so apologizes for the jumpy text! Trying to figure out how to fix it hah)!
You can order your copy of Ballad Of… Hardcore Happiness here. Mine is on the way and I am impatiently waiting it's arrival...! <3
Sorry this post is so long eek!

Hello! *kisses you on top of the head* I hope you are having a beautiful day! I am extremely excited to share this outfit with you! As you have probably noticed, I really love Lazy Oaf...! It's such a playful, cartoony brand that just makes me smile (though the pricing isn't always ideal on my budget - ;n;)! So when I was lucky enough to win a giveaway to ASOS from Ron at Dresses on a Clothesline, I was absolutely overjoyed and headed right for their Lazy Oaf section!
I have been really in love with baseball tees and varsity jackets lately, so I got this (sadly now out of stock!) cropped baseball top and it's perfect!
I accessorized the top with this beautiful strawberry purse from Choies - isn't it the cutest? ^o^ I'm a sucker for just about any fruit shaped accessories!
Until next time, au revoir! (oh and if you haven't listened to this song, go do so!) ♡♡♡
Hello! So sorry for the unintentional hiatus! I've been trying to come up with some new post ideas for Mermaidens, and since I have *also* been meaning to experiment more with illustrating, decided on a new series where I illustrate some pieces from my favorite brands! First up is U.K. brand, Lazy Oaf!
I am absolutely head over heels in love with their new watermelon shorts from their collection with Nasty Gal! As we are going into summer all I can do is dream of l(azy)oafing (sorry, pun) around in their adorable crop tops, circle skirts, and watermelon themed pieces (♡ᴥ♡)
What's your favorite Lazy Oaf look? And if you have any post ideas I'd love to hear them! :*
