Happy First day of February! The stores are all filled with pink, red, and a copious amount of hearts so I am pretty happy about that...! I've been staying toasty in this gorgeous faux fur coat by Jakke - it's the PERFECT shade of pink and has the cutest silhouette!

Double gingham? Don't mind if I do! This outfit has to be a new favorite - it reminds me of the 60s, the ladies in Edward Scissorhands, Grease - so many things I love! The bubblegum pink, cropped sweater is nothing less then perfect, and I'm completely smitten with the high waisted gingham pants. Missguided always blows me away with how adorable their stuff is!

Ahoy! Today I decided to dress up like a sailor - Kling is one of my very favorite brands, and this sweater is utterly darling! I paired it with these ultra sweet, handmade shorts by My Gal Lola. Not only are these lovingly handmade by Kaitlin, the scalloped detail and lace fabric is amazing!

Clueless

DRESS: c/o Oh My Love London HAT: Modcloth SOCKS: AA SHOES: Missguided I may or many not be guilty of owning a couple black dresses with white collars - but the moment I saw this Oh My Love London dress I knew I needed it. The perfect fit and flare cut, lace detailing on the collar, and gorgeous velvet fabric made it standout - and it's my new favorite little black dress in my wardrobe!

For the styling, I paired my new leopard print beret (a sale find at Modcloth) and my trusty American Apparel over the knee socks. I felt very Cher Horowitz from Clueless in this - which is always good! <3

How is 2015 treating you guys so far? I'm going to be honest, January hasn't been the kindest to me - it was really getting me down but I'm feeling more positive and determined to not let that derail me!

I'm combatting the dreary weather by dressing up in this bright, lip print sweater Lauren from Emerging Thoughts, one of my very favorite shops, sent me! I'm kind of picky when it comes to the fit of my sweaters - but this one fits beautifully and looks GORGEOUS on! Also, the thicker knit kept me warm (afraid I can't say the same thing about my legs... which were freezing haha!).

I paired the sweater with my matching lips bag that my blogging bff Marlena sent me and I picked up my shoes from Missguided in one of their sales. I've been hunting for a pair of t-bar flats for a while, and these are darling!

If you follow me on Instagram you will also note I've completely fallen for American Apparel's tennis skirts - the high-waist and pleated design GOT TO ME and I had to splurge. That said, I probably should have gone up a size, oh dear :|

This matching fluffy sweater set from Missguided immediately reminded me of 1950s scarlets and malt shops - so I donned my vintage pink varsity jacket (a gift from my dear friend Lauren!) and headed to the nearest retro inspired diner!

It was also the perfect opportunity to whip out my darling milkshake clutch from ASOS! I do wish there was a bit more space in the clutch, but I'm able to fit a small wallet, my phone, and a lipstick - and for a design this cute I'm willing to make a couple sacrifices!

I didn't end up getting a real milkshake, but stuffed myself on breakfast food - my favoriteee *__* Hope you have a nice week!
