I don't think the novelty of basking in a sun drenched living room, with my cat strategically laying in a sun spot, will ever get old. I wore this outfit to a BBQ and I feel like these photos, captured at golden hour, perfectly encapsulate the beautiful summer sunsets I love so much! I''m wearing a dreamy little dress from one of my favorite brands, Valfre.

Hold me close and hold me fast...

Maybe it's because I'm looking so forward to spring, or maybe it's the rose themed makeup products I'm currently testing (look out for a blog post on that soon!) - but either way, I can't stop humming La Vie en rose! I also thought the term la vie en rose was an apropos way to describe this outfit - with romantic, dusty rose pinks and heart patterned tights, this look is also perfect for Valentine's Day! Then again, I rarely need an excuse for incorporating pink hues, ribbons, hearts, and pom-poms in my wardrobe...

I took these on a rather freezing afternoon * outside an adorable pâtisserie ** and an older gentlemen remarked "I'm cold just looking at you!" 😂 In general I gravitate towards solid colored walls for ootd backgrounds, and while I still like them, I feel like my photos tend to come off a bit sterile and impersonal for this reason - and that is the opposite of what I want! I guess I was trying to make everything look "perfect" - and when you are surrounded by power lines, cars, and trash it makes it difficult - but I'm going to make an effort to challenge myself with new, more interesting locations. Please let me know your thoughts on this, I'd love to get your feedback!

Weekend Roundup

School of Visual Arts Presents 99 Hours of Free Photography Lectures - excited to dive into this incredible resource myself and had to share it with you all!

Currently on my wishlist: a floaty pink ASOS frock, daisy sunglasses from Oui Fresh, and this retro powder blue and red Miu Miu perfume bottle.

Good morning! Today I'm sharing an outfit I've been wearing pretty much nonstop lately! As you know I am absolutely obsessed with cats - my cat, my friends' cats, feline clothing, accessories, etc, etc - so I of course fell head over heels (or, er, paws? Ba dum tiss) over this blouse from Samantha Pleet!

As you probably know by now, Samantha is one of my all time favorite designers - I'm always smitten by her clever, romantic, and inspiring pieces, and when I saw a shirt with a cats saucey face embroidered on it, I knew I had to have it! The black shade and fun silhouette makes it go with just about everything in my wardrobe - making it a purrfect stable item!

To continue the kitty theme, I paired it with a blush pink bow choker from Valfre, and my signature cat eye flick.

Oh, hello! Just popping by to share an ootd from the other day that I snapped amidst spring blossoms! I know its boring to talk about the weather... BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER FOR A SECOND? It is just such a relief to finally be surrounded by blue skies and flowers and green trees?! ANYHOOT...

This Valfre jacket just came in the mail and it was like they plucked it right out of my dreams! If you've been following me you know I love bomber jackets - and not only is this one pink, their is a giant shell on the back! Dreams do come true guys.
