FLATS: Missguided CLUTCH: c/o ASOS BERET: c/o Larmoni
Glossier’s highly anticipated first permanent addition to their phenomenal Phase 1 collection are a set of masks.
I am a huge fan of face masks (anybody remember this post?) and, once again, Glossier has hit it out of the park with these products! The Mega Greens mask left my skin feeling clean and fresh (without being dry!), whereas the Moon mask was so cooling, soothing and soft!
Not to mention the show stopping packaging - their lids have beautiful, fully illustrated logos that tell you which one your picking up without having to read a label.
Two big thumbs up from me! Have you ever tried Glossier's products?
The Whitepepper is a brand I have loved since even before I was blogging, so I was pretty over the moon when they asked me to style a piece of their Spring collection for issue 5 of their darling magazine! Shout-out to Sophie for sending a copy of the magazine my way ♥!
I styled their Dinosaur Crop Top with a tennis skirt and my favorite backpack EVER by Jump From Paper!
But one day I came to a very scary realization - I could trick myself to do this literally forever. I can't let myself not do what I want to do because I'm not "good enough" yet - because you know what? I don't think I'm ever going to feel "good" enough! But instead of using that as a reason to freeze, you can use that feeling to motivate yourself to work harder and drive you forward.
It is okay to let your work represent where you are and your skill level at this exact moment. I have found when I push myself to try, even if I don't love the result, I get feedback from people I respect and I learn so much from the process. And another freeing thought: worst case, in the future, you can just redo it.
So I have decided my new mantra needs to be "Just Do It". Because you know what? We can do it - and we will!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! Please let me know if you have ever felt similarly. Of course there are exceptions to this "rule", but if you are anything like me, this feeling can snowball into not doing any of the things I want to do...! (Like drawing or even riding a horse...)
I gotta admit, "what's in my bag" posts are one of my absolute favorites - I always like to see what people consider their daily essentials! It's been a while since my last what's in my bag post, so getting this ASOS ice cream clutch was the perfect excuse to share my own updated essentials!
ASOS is one of my favorite places to shop for just about everything (you will see me singing their praises in just about every blog post - I'm obsessed okay!!!), and their Bags & Purses section is one of my favorites for their wide variety of cute as can be accessories.
Novelty bags are a weakness of mine - and so this ice cream clutch just about screamed my name! It's a fairly roomy clutch for being almost flat - I fit my absolute favorite lip product (soft matte lip cream from NYX in Buenos Aires), a kitty compact, my phone, and a donut wallet!
